Back in those days we didn’t use Microsoft quite as much and everything was paper, pen and ink.
We know the discipline of writing reinforces thinking and helps us put ideas and innovation into words so that can be easily understood by others when read.
Of course the intent with A3 is to use this as part of a planning and communication system which gets ideas and issues out on the table to discuss with your manager, co workers, or teams.
Good use of A3 helps focus our resources on the right things in terms of what we plan then do, but I believe it comes into its own when we identify what measurement is required to ensure we reach our goals.
