Toyota Kaikan – More or Less

Toyota Kaikan – More or Less

So as we continue our guided tour of Toyota, we made a stop at the Kaikan museum.

This was my third visit and it has had a make over since I was last here.

There is now much more on their new technology and much less on the Production System. In fairness our gba tour had an audio visual presentation which was far better that the older Kaikan exhibits.

There is still plenty on their Kaizen spirit and I enjoyed an exhibition on how they had dramatically increased productivity in spot welding with some employee innovation creating a stirring laser weld

Trust me it is better in the flesh!

There were several exhibits on their new personal mobility and we caught one of the team on their Winglet!

Sustainable growth in more ways than one as they also flex their eco muscle with energy reduction

To wrap up the tour I went to the gift shop and found this interesting ready meal idea!

What could be better to go with Lean Tomatoes!
