TSK the power of cleaning

TSK the power of cleaning

This is my third visit to TSK a circuit board manufacturer in Ena close to the centre of Japan.

The president Mr Takanaka firmly believes that getting everyone involved in cleaning the Gemba is key to achieving the mindset to continually improve.

We joined his team for a 7am cleaning detail and enjoyed 45 minutes of cleaning his factory equipment.

After a quick breakfast we heard the TSK story and presentation of their management theory and company.

After the presentation we took a tour of the offices and Gemba and saw some interesting approaches.

I enjoyed seeing how they approached their mapping.

This is the teams thoughts on the induction of a new employee.

They create an induction pack which is a really creative approach to how the team gets involved in designing a process.

Another fantastic day on tour!
